Save the date cards & wedding invitations

JuneBride, on April 23, 2018 at 18:35 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 16

So far the cheapest save the date cards and wedding invites I've found was at Costco for 69 cents each and it comes with envelopes (no shipping fee). I was wondering if there is somewhere I've overlooked that is cheaper.

I also used vistaprint too for everything that included envelopes for the invites, RSVP/Accomodations, thank you cards and menus. They looked great and cohesive.

Ditto this! VistaPrint might be cheaper if you catch them on one of their 50% off sales (which they have all the time).

69 cents sounds like a darn good price.

I like your save the date card. It's cute. I was thinking of sending it out through social media to our friends and cousins. For our aunts and uncles we mail them, but I'm not sure if I want to do that or just send them all by mail.

We did actually print out our image on cards to mail to some older people. They turned out fine for being free! Just had to pay for photograph printing (10cents) vista print does awesome stuff as well, especially if you get one of their 50% off sales. We used them for our actual invites

Costco is probably the cheapest, unless you purchase them at a time where Staples Print Centre is doing a coupon/sale... I'm going to watch and order mine when they do a 30 or 40% off coupon (minimum order $40 or $50 usually), then it ends up being about $0.60 for invites, and $0.30 for details inserts... and they come with envelopes.

We found an online template for our save the dates and sent them electronically. We then ordered invitation on VistaPrint and it came with envelopes and was pretty reasonable. You can also get return address labels, banners, favour labels and a bunch of other things through VistaPrint.

Sounds like a good idea but it wouldn't work for us because we have aunts and uncles who don't use social media or emails.

We used an online generator to make a save the date then used a screen shot to turn it into an e-invite. We sent it out over social media and email instead of paying postage and buying hard copies. Worked perfectly!

    .69 cents is very cheap!
The only other cheap DIY is possibly VistaPrint.
