I've heard of people spraying clothing with a starch solution to help it stiffen and decrease wrinkling. I don't know if this is something you could do with satin, however, it's definitely worth looking in to.

Perhaps your seamstress, or the store where you got the dress has some advice or tips on how to handle this

Yeah im totally expecting minor water stains if it’s snowing. And I’m fine with that. To be honest I’m more worried about the A to B from hotel to the park where we’re taking photos because I know it’s going to wrinkle. I’ll definitely look into portable steamers, that’s a great suggestion! It’ll have to be battery powered lol. Once photos are over I don’t care too much if it wrinkles a bit before the ceremony. No one will notice that.

I probably should have looked into how high maintenance satin is as a fabric before buying my dress. I just hadn’t really considered the issues before hand. Definitely gives me a bit of dress regret. I’m sure it’ll all end up better than I’m anticipating in my head!

I think you’re just going to have to be really careful and be fine with the fact that you’re most-likely going to end up with a stain of some sort on your dress pre-ceremony. I had a tulle dress and didn’t realize how dirty it was going to get from our outdoor photographs (along with people spilling drinks on me throughout the night, but that’s entirely something else *cue eye roll*).

Could you wait to put your dress on after you arrive for your photographs? That’s the best way I can think of preventing wrinkles, OR can you steam satin? If someone brings a portable steamer with them, it could take care of the sitting wrinkles.
