Rsvp's and Dinner Choices

Hi Everyone,

Wondering if anyone has any tips for integrating meal choices into the RSVP section on the wedding website. We know we can create a poll that people can fill out - but we still end up having to adjust their meal choices one-by-one in the guest list.

Hoping there is a way to include meal choices in the RSVP section that connects their choice directly into our guest list.

    I asked people to include their meal choices in the message portion of the RSVP. Success rate wasn't perfect. Lot of people were just excited to RSVP and missed that instruction and later emailed their selection to us. So be prepared for that. Overall though it was pretty good.

    Hopefully Weddingwire can get that function included soon, as other sites do offer that function for RSVPing, but they don't have the awesome table seating chart that wedding wire has.

    Hi Chelsea! Currently there is no way to fully connect or integrate a guest's meal choice, because it is not a feature of our RSVP system. We definitely know this functionality is in high demand!!

    As you already know we recommend creating a poll, but you could also include instructions in the text on your RSVP page asking for your guests to leave a comment with their meal choice. You'll still have to manually record and track everything, but it's another approach!
