We just had our meal tasting at our venue this Evening and it was lovely but now I'm stumped!!!
The venue needs to know which guest is having which entree. For instance we send an invitation to 1 house for 3 People. I need to find the proper way to ask which Person chooses which entree in order to mark each place card with a coloured gem for the wait staff to know who gets which dish & who has allergies etc. I've only ever seen reply cards with entrees and if 2 are having chicken and 1 is having fish you check the appropriate box with a number not a name... Our invitations go to the printer on Jan 2, 2019. This is stressful!

Meal options provided on RSVP card is always a good way to know what is being offered. The way I created my options were:

    Vegetarian (Mushroom risotto)

    Non-Vegetarian (Chicken breast)

Kids meal (Chicken Fingers & Fries)

I had the meals emailed to be notified one time and did a table number list and by what meal is being provided to the venue. I have heard of the gem system, though some guests may have their children (if invited) play with the cards.

When you do the blank space for the names, and/or number of guests attending, then you list the meal options, like in your example, people will either go simple, mark 1, 2 or 3 for each choice (like 1 person wants steak, 2 people want lasagna)... or they'll go overboard and write each persons name and such...

Glad you found a format you liked! Do you need any more inspiration for the design?

Thank you for your ideas. I appreciate your input. I just found this style of RSVP on Pinterest. I thought this was going to be impossible but see many options now. Thank you!

    Maybe word it like:
    Name:__________ Meal Choice:__________
And have how ever many lines of that you need for the number of people per invite?

Do you have separate reply cards? I was thinking just put 1 for each guest. They could be mailed together I know it is not an easy solution but its the only one I could think of.

Hmm all I can think is the cost will be more for postage to Families of 4 & to have multiple cards as we are having our invitations made by a Vendor.

We did online RSVPs so we know which guests chose each meal. The only other option I can think of is to include multiple meal cards so each guest can have there own.
