rsvp question

KELLY, on May 23, 2023 at 11:43 Posted in Tech support 0 7

Hello friends and future brides!

I am finalizing my invitations and have a concern. The only way I have managed to find our wedding website to RSVP as a guest is to put the entire URL including dashes, backslashes, colons etc.

https://www.weddingwire.ca/web/kelly-yates-and-david-robins

Has anyone found a better way or different website that has an easier RSVP for guests?

You can use a URL shortener like https://tinyurl.com/

It'll generate a much shorter link with no dashes that will go to your webpage.

My pleasure, I keep saying that Wedding wire and the Knot should combine websites and it would be perfect.

As far as this site goes I like the group chats and seating charts.

I like the knot because it was user friendly, I could add my registry, food options and allergies, they can send me a song request, there was just so much more I can do. Only thing is their registry is US so I had to create a separate tab for my links.

Thank you Carine, I followed your example and created a profile on the note also.

I'm using the knot for my website because I found this website was missing things I wanted.

I'm interested in knowing how this QR code works I like it.

    Hi!

We did QR codes that said something like, “please scan to rsvp”, and added “alternatively you may text #####” in case there are people who don’t feel comfortable with the website/ QR code. We’re using the knot, and it allows me to manually change and update everything.

You could create a QR code for the website instead if you think most of your guests know how to use QR codes.
