rsvp options

Thank you for the replies. We never sent out invites but "save the dates" through wedding wire to our ideal guest list of 160 back in the fall when our hopes were high. We have decided to keep it under 100 under the predicted guidelines so I wanted to update everyone who got a save the date so they aren't in the dark then "formally" invite our smaller guest list. It is so tricky!

We ended up using the "invite" function and sent out an update to our long list that we will be having a smaller wedding and will send out formal invites to this revised group. I then deleted the B list from the event "Wedding:" and sent out official invites with details to the smaller list. It seems okay but I am sure there will still be some confusion.

This is what I ended up doing. Its too bad there's not a better option.

Do all of your guests (both A and B list) have your wedding website/RSVP details already? If they all already know your website and can access it, the best option would probably be to remove the B people from your list until after a certain date and then add them back in so they can RSVP and only find their names after you do that

I ended up having to delete my B List guests from the guest list until I choose to send out B List invites. I just copied them to a word document so I didn't miss any when re-adding. A bit of a pain but the only way I could figure out how to make it work.
