Response from vendors already booked

My wedding is just over a month away and I’m wanting to start setting a schedule for the day of. I have emailed a couple of my vendors just over a week ago to get a timeline and I still haven’t received a response. Is that normal? I’m getting a little concerned since the wedding is coming up so fast and it would be nice to get some sort of response just to ease my anxiety and to know that they are on top of things. How long is normal to receive a response?

    It took almost two weeks to get a response but I finally got one! I’m just glad I asked all my questions in one shot!

    Any word back from the vendors yet? For one of mine I just double emailed and turns out the first one went to junk for some reason Smiley atonished

    I would wait like 3-4 days then send a follow up. you need to get things done before and dont want to leave it all till the last minute!

    I think response time really depends on how busy a particular vendor is, but you need to ask yourself how long you're willing to wait before you send a follow-up email. My general rule of thumb was 1 week if it wasn't urgent, and 3 days if it was.

    I had the same thing with a couple vendors, and it really freaked me out because I am so organized and didn't want anyone to forget lol.

    I did get a lot of contact with my vendors the week before the wedding. Vendors have their own timelines as well for when they check in. So if you do not get a response by the end of the week, I would say to give them a call to touch base!

    The vendors may be busy catching up with their clients prior to their day and they will get back to you soon. You just know that they have the day schedule timing to view as they open emails.

    On your end, the day schedule is most important due to knowing what has to happen and on time. Wedding party to show up for their hair/make up timing in the room if mentioned.

    I think it depends on the vendor. Everyone of mine were quick with replies except our photographer. He would often take a week or longer to reply. I know exactly how you feel and it is a bit frustrating.
