Renting an Airbnb?

Sounds like a great idea, but be careful. Having to bring in a caterer could make costs more than just going with a venue that had catering on site. Make sure you know all the rules of the Airbnb before you book (that they allow events, etc.). Make it VERY clear to the owner what your plan is.
We will be renting Airbnbs for the wedding party the night before and night of our wedding.

Hi Kristen! How many guests are you considering inviting? How many days will you be trying to rent the house for? Make sure to factor in some days for set up and clean up to make things easier on you on the big day itself.

It’s been my experience in my planning process that many Airbnb properties have a “no events/parties/weddings” rule. To circumvent that I’ve done google searches for “mansion wedding in X” city, or “rent a home for a family reunion”.

I think it’s possible but just remember to read the fine print in the listing and to be transparent with your purpose when you communicate to the hosts/property owners.
