Registry

Amazon site (as a member) has a registry you can add items to your list and guests can go through them to see what price range works for them. The items will automatically be removed once bought and shipped to you.

This was done recently for a baby shower which my brother does use Amazon site as do I. It did make it easier and to compare prices to companies.

I set up a registry with GiftSpaces. It isn’t set to any specific stores, instead people contribute to “items” you put on there but you just get the money instead of an actual item. You can also create “group gifts” for bigger items of a higher price point so multiple people can contribute money to “paying” for that item.


We don’t really need typical items from a registry so this was the best option for us if people didn’t want to just give cash in a wedding card.

We are using My Registry. It's an app and a website that allows you to sync existing registries (bed bath and beyond for example) and add anything you want from any website. I have Ikea and Home Depot gift cards to help with our kitchen project, cook books, power tools, things from my Amazon wish list. I added a widget on my browser so if I'm on a site I can click that button to add it, and if I'm on my phone there's an option to "share" to the my registry app.


I haven't shared it with anyone other than my mom because our shower was cancelled and our reception isn't until 2021, but it seems easy enough. People can use a link you send or search your names on the my registry website.
