Recognition for Close Friends

If they are attending the ceremony, you can have them do a reading, or a prayer during the ceremony.

For the reception, you could have them both as MC's, or saying grace!

How about making one of them MC? Or even both of them co-MCs?

Your friends coming towards the day of the wedding can attend in some of your getting ready shots to include them personally beforehand rather than later.

Not attending personally and want to remember them, a reading at your ceremony is one way to go do so. Mentioning them in your speech at the reception is also a way to say thanks for being there when always needed.

Maybe you can invite them for the when you get ready part! My friend did that, she had food around, music and mimosas and invited a few close friends (aside from her wedding party) to share one of the exciting part of the day with her!
