Receiving line

What if any are you planning to do for the receiving line? We are having a table set up with shooters in chocolate shot glasses, and and alchohol free punch.

I really like this, Jenn. I might use it at our wedding.

We are offering our guests the opportunity to get photos taken with us during cocktail hour. Inviting them up by table number. Gives them all a chance to chat one on one with us. And gets them all a professional photo with us

Good Idea, I've decided we will have a receiving line table, that will have seating cards, and shooters and our wall art guest book, but not us lol. It seems to be a tradition from the past that we really don't need to stand there.

No receiving line but during the speeches we plan to introduce each of our immediate family members to the group.

We are not doing a receiving line, but we plan to go around during cocktail hour and after dinner to chat with our guests.

I don't think we will be doing a receiving line. We are having a more laid back smaller wedding (75 guests total) so we will have time to talk to everyone.

We are not doing a recieving line. We have a large number of guests coming (prob about 140) but we have arranged our day so that we have time to mingle with everyone durjng happy hour before dinner at our reception. So we are hoping to be able to walk around and talk to everyone in a more relaxed setting than a recieving line.

Yes this was something undecided for us, but decided to go ahead. Maybe we will just have it set up, with our picture we want the quest to sign, table numbers/seating chart and the shooters and not us lol.

We are not doing a receiving line. Most of the people we will invite are close family and friends and know we can take time to talk to everyone.
