Real flowers for less

Yes Costco or even your local grocery store that carries flowers. Another option is going to local farmer markets and talking to flower vendors. Depending on what you want you can also grow your own if you have time. That is what we are going...all 3.

Costco - you can either order online or go directly to the store and find the store representative. I've had one friend order the mini bouquets online and thought they were great, but did make sure to add some filler greenery to make them look fuller. I had another friend who ordered in the warehouse. She was happy with the pricing, but said checking out was a disaster, because none of the flowers were labelled with pricing.

I got some incredible fake flowers from Michaels.

I plan on decorating the flower girl basket with fake flowers, and some other decor here and there. However, for the bouquets and boutonnieres I will splurge a little on real flowers. I do plan on reusing the bouquets as centerpieces, which will save us a lot of money !

The Costco website has prices if you're looking for premade bouquets or bulk stems and greenery to build your own. When I was looking into this option I was aiming for about $400 and it seemed doable. They also have garlands and centerpieces if you decide you want a little more.


I've found some good reviews on faux from afloral.com but I haven't bought any myself yet. I'm also worried about them looking cheap, and at Michael's they all look like they've been through a wood chipper. Mom and I are planning a trip stateside in the spring and if I don't have any luck I'll order online.

The word Wedding does raise the price more based on the event of a lifetime. Just inquiring for general purposes will suggest the prices will be less expensive based on what your looking for.
