As the Holidays are coming to an end (Ukrainian Christmas was on the 7th!), I am noticing a lot of new faces here on Wedding Wire and I am so intrigued to find out how it all went down with your proposals???? Who proposed to who? What item did they propose with – or what was it a verbal exchange?...

Who proposed to who?

What item did they propose with – or what was it a verbal exchange?

When was it? Days leading up the Christmas? On Christmas? New Years Eve? Anniversary?

Where. Did. It. All. Go. Down??

How long have you been together – but how long have you known that they were “The ONE”?

For me, I proposed to my then boyfriend - now Fiancé Kael!

I proposed with a couple bracelets from Claire's that said "His One" and "Her Only" on them.

I proposed on December 30th 2017 for no specific reason other than it was time - and I wanted to ask him at a specific place that was only open for a few more days.

That place was the Canad Inns Winter Wonderland Light Show.

We met on February 24th 2017, were Facebook official March 5th 2017, I proposed December 30th 2017, and we are tying the knot on October 5th 2019! We will have been together for 2 years and 7 months on our wedding day!

I'm not a new face, but this is a cute discussion so why not?!
Who? My fiancé proposed to me.
What? He proposed with an engagement ring he and I picked together style-wise prior to!
When? Valentine's Day 2018!
Where? At home!
How? We'll have been together for 4.4 years on our wedding day!

Who: My FW proposed to me
What: When I walked into our bedroom, she had our iPad with beautiful handwritten "will you marry me?" with a painting of my ring (she was getting it made at the time but couldn't wait!)
When: November 25th when I got home from hanging out with some friends!
Where: At our apartment.
How: I got home, opened the door and noticed that there were tons and tons of candles on every surface and one of our favourite records playing on the record player. There was a string that trailed from the front door to the kitchen to the living room to the hallway and onto the bedroom door. There were all these beautiful little papers clipped to the string and each one had a reason why we are so good together. Why our relationship is so amazing. I walked to each one, crying, grabbed a glass of wine she laid out for me to take, and ended up at the bedroom. Opened the door and she was on one knee and asked me to marry her. It was so beautiful!

We met at college. I knew she was the one the first time we hung out with friends all together. We bussed home the same way, talked the whole time, and I couldn't stop thinking about her. We hung out every day after that, and travelled to Spain together 2 months after we met.

Who: My now FH proposed to me!
What: He pulled a ring from his pants pocket! (I'm still unsure of how he hid it so well from me in the big box it was in haha!)
When: December 23, 2017! 4th year anniversary is Christmas Eve and we celebrated a day early!
Where: We were in Niagara Falls celebrating out 4th anniversary!
How: 4 years until engagement! We just hit 5 years together and will be almost 5.5 years when married!
