Banff, Alberta at the Stables. Right before a romantic sleigh ride in the mountains. I think he chose that moment because it was pretty special! Felt like a princess.
Butchart Gardens in Victoria (BC), at their 12 Days of Christmas light display. It's a family tradition and literally one of my favourite places on Earth.
We were at Gulfoss in Iceland which is this giant waterfall with loads of tourists. Because I didn't want to make a spectacle, I dragged her to a corner close to the rapids and proposed in a more private spot.
While I was away on a study abroad trip in Europe, my fiance came to visit for a week near the end of the trip. We drove from Strasbourg, France down to a tiny little town called Triberg in the Black Forest in Germany and he proposed to me at the foot of Triberger Wasserfalle.
He proposed at my barn with my horse there. Every since he first asked me out he knew he would be the second love of my life after my horse Jackson. The barn has always been a big part of our lives and one of our happy places so thats why he chose it!
It was just as the sun was setting on the last day of our safari in South Africa! Apparently it was supposed to be when we hiked to the top of table mountain a few days prior but the weather didn’t cooperate so the hike didn’t happen!
He proposed on Miami Beach by the palm trees. Once our plane landed in Miami, I mentioned that the palm trees were cool and that I loved them.
Fun fact, our ceremony location has live palm trees so will be able to relive the moment! We're also going to Miami a few days before our honeymoon cruise so we are going to find the same spot and take a picture there 2 years later and married!
We hiked up to the Big Beehive Lookout over Lake Louise. It's spectacular on a clear day but was really foggy that day so it was like looking into a big white abyss - it made it feel like we were the only ones in the world though
He proposed at the Toronto Music Garden because (he later told me) he googled best places to propose in Toronto and that was the closest to the lake. We both love gardens, and we'd never been there before, so he was also able to get me there without raising my suspicions by saying we should explore somewhere new in the city.

It was in Niagara Falls!! In front of the lights at the falls!
We got engaged in our living room after coming home from dinner out. He didn't want to do it at the restaurant because he's not a 'make a scene and have all eyes on me' type of person and he was scared he'd mess up in public. It was so sweet and intimate.
I proposed at the Winter Wonderland Light Show at the Red River Exhibition Grounds!
I wanted to propose there because winter is my favourite time of the year (I mean - Christmas duh!) and I knew that the tunnel of hearts/love would be perfect!
