I have a meeting with a marriage commissioner next week. What can I expect? If she doesn’t like us am I back to searching for one? There is only a handful in my area and they are getting booked fast.

    I wouldn't worry too much. They should be professional and take the pressure off you. Hopefully you can talk easily with them and it is a good fit.

    I would be interviewing her to see if i like her! see how accommodating she is and if she is a right fit for you and your FH. dont settle find the right person!

    The meeting can go well if you both are on the same page accordance to what can be done for your day. The process will let you proceed forward and know you have good communication with the Officiant.

    The meeting may not feel as comfortable if there isn't that connection to feel what is being said or done to accordance of the day being disconnected between you two and Officiant. This will set you to start back at square one.
