Potential Wedding Venue offered different room

The room your provided isn't what you like and want to have another banquet room, I don't see any harm in asking them about changing the rooms if that would make things better for you.

It doesn’t hurt to ask what is available on your date. While they should be offering more choices, most venues offer a room based on your guest count…so if you have 100 people and the room you love is for 350+ , chances are you won’t be offered that room.
I would always double check when you go see it in person- but it’s not unusual..

I would contact them and see why you weren't given the room that you were wanting in the first place.

I would ask if there any of the other rooms are available, They may have only sent that room because its the only one available.

Also, make sure you actually physically see the place you are deciding to get married. Pictures never do it justice.

I would connect with them to discuss it and confirm the room you wanted and see if it is still available. The venues we looked at only had one room or two rooms to choose from and when we signed our contract it did state the room we were having on it.
