Liga, on December 5, 2020 at 21:51 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 11

Hy! I am bride who should have married in June 2020. We postponed our wedding for 2021, but I have decided to contact all my wedding planners, location and all the rest in January and will ask to move it to 2022. I don't know how they will react on that! Have anyone have moved their wedding already second time for 2022. ???

Venues won't be surprised to hear about changing dates as it seems the Covid situation seems to be pushing couples celebration back with all the uncertainty taking place currently. You want to feel secure and safe knowing its done ahead of time than late. Your guests will feel appreciated with the update of the wedding date change to make arrangement changes.

Hey, not officially, but that's where it's likely to go. We told everyone tentatively June 2021, so we didn't make any promises, but we know they're going to start asking in a few months. We have about 90 guests and they're coming from across Canada, a couple places in the US, and Lima, Peru, so we really need to make sure everyone is safe worldwide before we get a group like that together.

Hy Jadyn..Yes... in this times it is safer to move it! And also better to rebook all things, since when things will finally cool down, it will be race for weddings! And more than sure will be difficult to get vendors and good prices.

We postponed to 2022 but our original date was 2021. We were lucky that any vendors I had were fine with the different date and no one charged us extra fees. Fingers crossed you are able to postpone without any problems

Hi, I am supposed to get married on April 17th, 2021. But because of COVID-19 we are unsure in my family in the US will be able to even come to Canada. Because of that we decided to instead elope with just our parents in attendance but with much thought we decided to just hold off the wedding. we have now moved it to August 6th, 2023. It's quite a ways away but better safe than sorry.

I think it's a really smart idea to do this now. So many brides who had weddings in early 2020 pushed them a few months and have had to re-re-book.

2022 is looking so much more promising for a vaccine and therefore hopefully celebrations without masks and distancing. I hope contacting your vendors goes well!

Where are you getting married and how many are you hosting? You might get pushback, you might be asked to pay a rate increase if you push, or it might all go without a hitch depending on how things are playing out in your area.
