Plants in the bouquets

Joey, on September 27, 2018 at 08:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 14

Are you incorporating any non-floral plants into your bouquets and arrangements to give them some extra texture and pop? Will you feature succulents, sprigs of evergreen, air plants, ivy, dusty miller, or other kinds of greenery? Do you have a favorite non-floral trend?

I'm personally #obsessed with non-floral bouquets and can't wait to see yours!

I just got a proposal from the florist and mine will have succulents and different eucalyptus. These are their inspirational photos and my bouquet will be a cross between the two! So excited, I love the organic wild look

My bouquets are going to have hypericum berries and blue thistles mixed in to the roses and carnations. I've customized one of the wedding collections from the Costco site (Valley Flowers), so that all the flowers will be white/ivory, and the blue will really pop. So excited!!!

I needed some greenery in my bouquet as the flowers were all white (we had a black and white theme). We used some type of eucalyptus that had these little buds on them - can't remember the exact name but I loved the contrast and texture.

This is becoming more and more popular I’m finding. More so with the succulents, I wouldn’t put a lettuce hedge in my bouquet ( but if you get hungry at least you have a snack on hand lol)
succulents are really pretty in a bouquet if placed n secured correctly. It a great idea

My bouquet had ferns, eucalyptus and berries! I love texture so these were a nice compliment on top of the other flowers I had.

I'll be having lots of succulents and rosemary in mine! I love the natural look and the texture they provide!

Tbh - I’m debating whether or not to hold a bouquet at all actually. Was thinking a book instead.

But if I do, I can see it being succulents.

So cool! I bet the lily shape will look really cool with those other highly geometric plants. Do you have an inspo pic? What color lilies?

My bouquet will be very similar to #3, but with 1 or 2 lilies to add a pop of colour (and they're my favourite flower). I love the succulent and eucalyptus mixture 😍
