Planning for Sep22 - Let's go

Courtney, on December 22, 2021 at 10:18 Posted in Plan a wedding 1 8

Tell me it's possible to plan it with this short timeline!

And cross your fingers for us that no restrictions are in place next September!

Best wishes to all the brides of 2022 ♥

It is possible to get done as long as you get the vendors available. This will be a great challenge to face to the final timing. You will get it done on time and on budget hopefully.

I basically planned my wedding in under four months due to covid. It can be doable. That being said, what certainly helped was having a venue that was flexible with whatever guidelines the government has in place and not looking to screw you over. For us, the venue was flexible with menu packages (we could swap out items without hassle) and didn't enforce a minimum spend if we can't meet a certain capacity quota (ie not trying to force a $20K minimum spend on us when we're only allowed 50 people). It was a HUGE relief and allowed me to focus on the details rather than all the big things you have to consider for the wedding. So I would definitely start looking hard at venues that fit your budget, interview any potential ones with your availability. and lock down one that jives with what you're trying to do ASAP. The rest will fall into place naturally.

Definitely you can, we are getting married the day before you and we just started planning a few mths ago(Oct to be exact). Lock in the most important things first like venue and go from there.

I think it is doable , depending on your budget on your diys that you want to do. I would recommend getting a decor rental company if you have the budget for it less work less stress!
Also be prepared that 2022 is a wedding book everyone had to hold their dates till 2022 and lots of newly engaged brides last year are planning for this year. I started planning in February and there were vendors booked for my date!
Another thing is be prepared to be paying a lot of deposits or in full in a shorter amount of time , again depending on your budget and the simplicity or not simplicity of your wedding
As for Covid I honestly wish I waited till 2023 stress wise but here we are… September 30 2022 is our date and everything is booked so no backing out now! Lol
Good luck wishing you all the best!! 🤍🤍

I'd start looking at all the people looking to sell their contracts first. You may get a great deal. I wish I had done the shorter timeline I would have been done before covid....now look at me lol. Best of luck finding everything you want easily

100% doable! A couple years ago a friend of mine got engaged in December and got married the following September!

My best advice is to have a flexible vision!

100 % doable. I asked myself this same question a few months ago, as we are planning for October 2022 (after getting engaged Oct 2021 lol) just be sure to lock down a venue, as really, thats whats the hardest with short timelines especially with lots of couples rescheduling for 2022.

    CONGRATS and best of luck!!
