Planning a wedding and pregnant.

Jenn, on January 19, 2019 at 21:00 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7
Is anyone else in this same situation I’m in. Just found out I’m a month pregnant and planning a wedding. Very stressful I should say, from already purchasing a dresses and getting all the details ready for August 24,2019

Thanks Leah, yes I do not want to put extra stress on the baby or me. The dress is not stressing me out because I will be 8 months pregnant and I know his the summer is, hot and I’ll be big and not enjoy my special day

Hi Holly, how are you I’m due in September and the wedding is in august. I was talking to my FH and we decided to postpone the wedding later on I will be 8 months pregnant. I’m not sure with the dress I bought if I can put extra fabric because it is a mermaid style. I don’t reallg feel like having a wedding and feeling tired I would like to enjoy it.

If I can do math right, your due date is probably going to be around the end of September. I've never been pregnant but my FSIL was pregnant last year and the last trimester (7-9) was pretty brutal from what she told me.

As much it might suck, I would look into either moving the wedding up in the summer or later past the due date. Neither is an ideal solution but it might be the best alternative.

    Congratulations and best wishes!!

    Congratulations!

This must be such an exciting time.

I think a perk of being pregnant while you’re wedding planning could be that for the sake of your and your child’s health, you have to stay calm throughout the process...like you don’t have to embrace the typical stress that comes with wedding planning bc you’ve got bigger fish to fry and (as an example) whether the seat covers match the groomsmen ties is not one of them...y’know?

I wish you nothing but peace, and joy during your baby planning and wedding planning!

Girl, I know exactly how you feel!! My wedding is June 1st of this year and I have a 2 month old! We had been trying for about 6 months so it definitely wasn't a surprise when we found out I was pregnant but I had it in my head that I wasn't going to get pregnant, so I went dress shopping and got my dress (I was actually pregnant while dress shopping I just didn't know it yet!). Now I'm still trying to lose the baby weight and the wedding is in 4½ months!! I'm panicking about if it'll fit..what to do about alterations.. plus planning with a newborn is incredibly hard! It was so much easier when I was pregnant! I got all the major things planned and booked before he was born.

Our situation is a bit different but I still understand what you're dealing with.

When is your due date? Is it near your wedding date, if so you may want to consider moving your date. Maybe have it sooner if possible? I know delaying a wedding is never a wanted option for brides so maybe try to move it up first. Especially if you've already got your dress, you may want to either alter it to your bump or get married when you don't have a bump. It probably won't cost too much to add extra material for a bump.
I'm not sure how you want to approach this possible moving the date or keeping it situation, I just know that around 7-9 months I was absolutely miserable and exhausted and during the summer I was a sweat all 90% of the time which made me more miserable and exhausted lol
