Pinterest: Expectations vs. Reality

I had never really gotten into Pinterest until wedding planning! It was so helpful to be able to save ideas to show vendors when we met with them. I was able to find ideas for our centrepieces, chalkboards, cake, bridal shower games, engagement pic poses, flowers, invitations, etc! Luckily some of the things I found were able to be purchased on Etsy like our flowers and invitations. It's so frustrating when you find something you love but then you can't find anywhere to get it! (I found the perfect pair of shoes but couldn't not figure out where they came from!) For the most part, I used Pinterest as a guideline and then tailored it for what we needed. I definitely do not expect my projects to turn out like how they look on Pinterest!

Oh I love Pinterest! I get lots of ideas and inspiration from there, so far quite a few have become a reality, but I definitely pin WAY MORE than I complete

I picked certain lighting idea's, my centerpiece idea's, my table numbers, seating charts and table cards all from pinterest! I have so many ideas that I have found on pinterest that I will be having at my wedding!
