Picnic wedding

Chiara, on November 22, 2016 at 01:19 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 19

We are having a picnic wedding in a park, I am wondering should I buy blankets or should I ask guests to bring their own?

I agree to this! You can supply the blankets as a wedding favour if it's within your budget! Smiley laugh

It would be cute if you supplied the picnic blankets and use them also as your wedding favours.

Hi Chiara Smiley heart I'm glad you like the idea! Definitely look up different ones to see if they fit within your budget. Smiley smile You can have them without the writing too. I hope you won't have to cut your guest list! Smiley sad Have you already sent your invitations?

Hi Chiara, I really like your idea of a picnic wedding. It is really up to you if you chose to buy blankets for your guests or have them bring one along. Whatever decision you make I support you!Smiley smile

If it's in your budget it would be great if you could make the blankets party favours for your guests! I would love to have a blanket as a gift! It's different, cute and practical!

Depends on your budget... If you can afford them great, if not tell them to bring their own on the invitation... You could bring a few yourselves just in case somebody forgets to bring theirs... Linens usually go on sale in January so if you decide to buy them yourselves it might save you some money to wait till then.

I also agree with what the other lovely ladies have said...if you provide them you control the colour palate and then you are also have some pretty cool favours! Provided it fits in the budget of course!

I definitely agree with Melissa! My mind always runs through all the possible "what ifs" and you would definitely have more control if you provide them. What if someone forgot to bring one and either had to sit in the grass or ran home to grab one and missed the ceremony? It also makes you and your FH look like good hosts for providing seating!

My mind also immediately went to the favour idea! That would be such a great gift for your guests and would definitely be something they'd use again!

Hey! A very nice idea! If would supply the blankets for my guests- this will give you a little control over the colour and condition (looks nice in pictures), and won't be burdening guests with a big ol blanket to bring with them.

The blankets *could* double as a favour, if you are willing to part with them after!

Cute, I would buy them for the guests. I think the less things your guests have to being with them to your wedding, the better!

Hi Chiara Smiley heart This is such a cute idea! You could go either way about this! I think it would be a great gesture though to bring the blankets. You could even have blankets as your wedding favours so your guests can keep them after the wedding Smiley smile You could do something like this:

    Help Yourself Blankets

    Blanket Favours

How do you like these ideas? Smiley smile
