Picking up the Invitations!

I am SO SO SO excited. I'm headed to pick up the invitations in a few minutes as I just got the call that they are ready!

For me, this is the most real part of the wedding.. sending invites, getting people to show up. I mean the ring picking was scary and serious and like holy moly we're doing this for life. But the invites is more like real but so exciting!

I haven't seen what they'll look like in person, only a mock up on a screen so I'm nervous too!

    Oh I love them Smiley heart I'm all about simple. There's just something so beautiful about the classic elegant style!

    I love the old school paper RSVPs too, it's really nice to be looking forward to mail that isn't bills or flyers.

    We wanted something really classic, vintage and simple. Our paper is a heavier stock off-white and the font is all a beige-brown. I adore it.

    We gave out the first invites today as we were seeing two of our friends so we handed them theirs. I just picked up stamps so we'll be sending the rest out in the next day or two! I can't wait.

    Aww that's the best feeling! I ordered ours at the same time as our save-the-dates which we sent out a few weeks ago. All I want to do is put the invites out now too, it's so hard to wait.

    When are you planning on sending them out?

    That's exciting! I think I was also excited to get the invites out, and couldn't wait for the RSVPS to start coming.

    This is a very exciting part in the planning! I didn't get to experience picking ours up as we made our own but I could only imagine how exciting it feels! Wait until you start sending them out!!!

    I know what you mean about invites making it feel real. Things got real when I sent my invites out. You will finally start to get an idea of numbers etc. Very exciting.
