Photos with a big dress

Alexandra, on September 22, 2019 at 12:45 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 10
Hi everyone! I started looking for dresses and thought I was going to go for a slimmer style, but ended up loving one with a bigger skirt. However, I can’t picture in my head how photos will work - will the skirt overwhelm the photos? Will it cover the groom in couple photos? Does anyone have experience with this and/or advice? Did anyone have a poofy skirt? Thanks!!

I just wanted to say how AMAZING you look in this dress! You're glowing! I'm glad some others were able to calm your anxieties about the big skirt!

I agree with everyone. The dress looks great on you! And I don't think it will be a problem for photos!

That dress looks lovely on you. The skirt isn't that huge I don't see it being a big problem on the day. Ive seen some huge skirts look really good in photos.

The photographer always has tricks to make it work, but honestly looking at your skirt, I wouldn’t worry too much. It looks bigger at the back, which would be put to the side where your groom won’t be. I know my future SIL had a train and so the back of her dress was all on display to the side my fiancé’s brother wasn’t on.

    Awwww, I love it!

I don't think that it will be a problem - I've got a ball gown with a train and all I know is that I look good and that they wouldn't sell a wedding dress that isn't functional especially given that pictures are so common on wedding days. It will be fine - I'm sure.

You look beautiful!! People will always find a way to get nice and close to you!
Photographers are also pretty used to working with many different dress styles so they will be able to help you out as well!
