Photography for a courthouse wedding

I was looking into this when I was still hoping to have a courthouse wedding - ask photographers for an Elopement Package. It's usually half the cost of the average wedding photographer, and then you still have some professional pics to remember your special day!

I would still suggest looking for a photographer, if you want the option of having professional photos. Usually wedding photography packages include getting ready, ceremony, posed photos, reception (all the activities that happen during the reception), guest photos, etc... You can probably negotiate a deal where it's a much more concise package for what you need. Maybe even more like a 'lifestyle session'.

I know of a couple of people that have done. you could probably hire someone by the hour.

if we were going this route, I would hire someone. just to have some nice photos of that day.

My aunt got married at the courthouse last year. She did NOT hire a photographer - she just had her son-in-law take pictures for her.

It really depends on how professional you want the pictures to be. If you're getting all dressed up in a wedding dress and everything, you may want some professional pictures to commemorate your special day.

Look around a bit - you should be able to hire a photographer for an hour or so to cover everything you need!
