Has anyone worn a petticoat/hoop skirt for their ballgowns?

Super intrigued!! Looks great and keeps you cool under the big skirt?

Experiences? (if you have pics it would be fabulous lol)

For sure try one on in store to see if it makes a difference or not - or of course order one online if it's cheap enough. I won't be using one but my fabric is really structured as is

I will be wearing a crinoline/hoop under my ball gown. I think it will make a big difference in the August heat and give me the volume I want. Not sure where you might buy one though. I'm wearing my mom's, which was custom made for her back in the 80s.

I bought a hoop shirt for my mermaid dress to try and poof it out at the bottom and not be too droopy! No photos yet but in the past I have found some extra support under a dress makes a huge difference!! If you want that extra volume!
