Paying for makeup and hair

Lots of people will get makeup done for bridesmaid and mother of the groom/mother of the bride. Though this is totally unnecessary unless you have a specific look you want for them.

My 4 girls are all getting their makeup and hair done with me. I’m paying for them but that’s just because I want to. I think normally they pay for themselves. I just wanted to give them a nice thank you for all they’ve done for me over the years 😊

Bridesmaids don;t need professional make up, just me the bride. i'll ask if they can do themselves.

Lots of people have the whole party’s makeup done professionally. They will need to know how many people because over a certain amount, they’ll need multiple artists to get the work done in time, which affects the price.

My entire bridal party is getting their makeup done plus my mom and my fiancé’s mom. I am not paying for them, I just told them the price and they know they’ll be covering it themselves.

My MOH, bridesmaid, and mom will all be getting their makeup done professionally with me. what i am doing is getting a gift card for each of them for the salon were going to and giving it to them with their wedding party gift the night before at the rehearsal. They will be paying for their hair though!

I think in this case they just want to know if they will also be doing make up for your bridesmaids and the moms as others have said. Booking in all of them with your make up artist does not mean you have to pay for it at all, its just for them to know how long they need and how many people to account for. I think its a nice treat for the moms if they want it

If you're offering for your mom, make sure you extend that courtesy to your future mother-in-law as well

If you are requiring professional makeup for your bridesmaids, you should pay for it, if it is optional for them to join you, they pay. I am asking for my MOH to have professional makeup, so I’m paying for it,

You don't have to pay for them if you don't want to. It's all up to you. I only have my best friend standing up for me next summer and I had just asked her if she could pay for it. I've been in 3 weddings and I've payed for mine hair and makeup all 3 times. Most of the time the bridesmaids understand.

I didn;t know i have to pay for bridesmaids. i thought they will do their own hair and makeup. i have five bridesmaids maybe more and that will be very expensive. i'll ask my mom if she wants makeup.

Depending on how many bridesmaid you have, you want to include your bridal party for hair and makeup and if you want your mom included in that as well.

The groom and groomsmen don't need to have makeup and hair in my opinion. They can do their hair themselves lol Unless they go to the barber shop the morning of and get a nice hair cut
