Park weddings?

Hi everyone! My fiance and I are debating having a wedding outside in outside in our local park, as this would cut down the cost dramatically and there is many beautiful flower gardens in the area. Any ideas for an outside park wedding? (We have someone to cater so that part is easy) we just need to know about ideas for the look and how to possibly set it up so everyone can enjoy. (We would like to have it in June.) Please help!!!

    I recommend Pinterest you can save so many ideas and review. Has colour palettes, hair and backdrop ideas vaeious themes etc. Good luck I got stuck in there and I'm wedding through and discarding.

    You can choose whatever colors you'd like. I think you could make it a little more casual and do like a picnic theme if you wanted. Kind of vintage of that would suit you.

    I have checked into the permit, it costs $75, and I am thinking about renting a tent. Where we are is semi-desert, and it hardly rains from June to September, but I thought the tents would be just as good for shade as well as if it rains. I just don't know what to do as far as decorations or anything... or what colors could be not tacky for an outdoor venue.

    You should probably find out if you need a permit from the municipality for an outdoor gathering. Have you considered what you will do if it rains? Are you planning to rent a large tent just in case?
