I am doing something like this for my FMIL.

The photo album seems enough to give as a gift of the memories they will have of you both along with the families (yours and in laws). The idea of anything personalized should be of they would use or wear. A pocket square and tie for the fathers/brothers since they wear suits quite often would be nice as a necklace for the mothers/sisters of their initial.

Our theme is Sunflowers, so I bought my mom a sunflower necklace and my sister, my maid of honor, a matching sunflower bracelet. For my MIL I bought a sunflower broach. Something that they can remember the day of. The guys are all getting beer, something to get them through the day!

Thank you for the great ideas everyone! We are definitely going to give them photo albums and I will find something more personal to give them the day of as well!

I bought frames, and added a nice saying on it using my cricut for each of our parents. I added little piece of paper on the inside on yardstick stating it is reserved for a wedding picture of all of us for the wedding. We then paired the frames with either a customized beer glass or wine glass I made.

We gifted our parents photo books - ended up being a Christmas present as well lol. We also had custom pint glasses made that we gave them so we could all have some sense of cohesion for our zoom reception. We'll probably get them something small when we have our full reception after the pandemic.

My fiance and I are probably going to give each set of parents a photo book of our wedding photos. We're also giving them handkerchiefs with a beautiful saying on each of them for the wedding and we're giving each of them a wine glass/beer mug that says their title MOB, FOB, MOG, FOG

I am thinking for dad to get a personalized handkerchief and maybe one for mum as well. As they have those options on WeddingStar. But I have yet to keep looking.

I was watching a YouTube video the other day and the girl found an artist (on etsy I think) and she sent in pictures of herself and her mom and their outfits for the wedding and the artist painted them on their wedding day! I thought it was a super cool idea!

We bought my fiancee's parents their wedding ensemble - tuxedo for her dad, evening gown for her mom. For my mom, she already had her clothes so we got her a sapphire centered gold ring.

If we end up having a videographer, I'll be editing a special cut of the wedding video for the parents specifically.

We plan to make our parents photobooks once we have our photos back! That's something we're all into also though.
