Paperless Post?

Laura, on November 16, 2021 at 21:51 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 11

Hi all! I'm wondering if anyone has used paperless post, particularly for save the dates? This is our second go around with save the dates (I mailed out the first round) and don't want to spend all the money on stationary and postage again. What was your experience? Did people provide you with requested info (addresses)? Did you just end up in people's junk mail?

Thanks for any advice!

Exactly!! I was not about to put money on that at all. Hahaha! And also, I used the website to update them with any information and our registries.

Such a smart idea! Invitations seem so unnecessarily expensive and they really just get tossed in the garbage!

    Hello Laura,
I tried to have the less expensive wedding possible. My invitation was created by myself on Canva and was messaged to the guests with the invitation and message inviting them. Haha!

We just sent electronic invitations to save money and time. Our guests doesn’t seem to mind and most of the time paper invitations will just go to the trash.

Thanks everyone. It seems like a quick, affordable option to mailing. It's been a year and I know people's addresses have changed so it's definitely easier to source those this way. Physical invitations are a must for me - I got way too deep into wax seals to hold back now!

Saving on the cost of actual S.T.D., it would be wise to do use the website to make it easier and to have the same for the invitations itself if you find it better for yourselves. I know a few cousins who did the website for the invitations which worked out great for them.

My friend used Paperless Post for her invitations and it worked great! We are planning to do the same for our invites.

For our Save the Dates we just emailed everyone with a digital “card” I made. Took a little longer but it was free!

A few friends used Paperless Post and it's a pretty straight forward process but they used it for invites and not Save the Dates. I say unless you have a ton of people coming from out of town, you can just go straight to invites and skip the Save the Dates.

If you had the addresses from mailing them the first round, why do you need them again?
