Outside or Inside Photography in the Fall/Winter

Chadene, on February 22, 2019 at 14:06 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 3
Hi everyone!
Mid November is quite a cold time to take photos outside but I would still love to! Are there any beautiful options in the GTA to take them? And is there there any back up indoor options anyone can think of?

Hey Chadene! Have you asked your venue(s) about whether they have suggestions? They make know of spaces on their grounds or nearby where couples frequently take their photos. Your photographer is another great resource you should ask.

I found a few articles in the ideas section that list some beautiful locations around Toronto, maybe they will inspire you!

Did any of the spaces Leah suggested pan out?

Thanks Leah! I'll look into those suggestions. I do know that the city no longer allows wedding photography in High Park but I'll try and do more research on outdoor spaces.

    Hi Chadene!

Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to the Wedding Wire community!

I think High Park and Sunnybrook Pavillion are beautiful in Autumn. My best friend got married in November 2015 at an old theatre (Eglinton Grand, and we took photos there, which was very convenient for everyone).

I'm also a fan of indoor spaces like The Ontario Science Centre, The AGO, and the ROM.

Also consider going up, and finding rooftop patio to take your photos.

Be sure to see what your photographer says too - you're paying them so you might as well get their expert opinion!
