Do you plan on keeping your wedding dress during the whole reception or do an outfit change during the reception? Share your inspirations! I always thought about changing into a jumpsuit later during the evening. Something like these pictures.
I love this idea but my only downfall about a wardrobe change is that you pay so much for a dress to wear it only for 1/2 the event essentially, but that's literally just me. i love the idea of wardrobe changes and when people do it but i wont be, ill be hitting up the local McDonalds on my way to the hotel dress and all haha
While I love the idea of changing into something else, I’m only wearing this dress once so I’m going to keep it on the whole time. Thankfully the train of my dress is completely detachable and since it’s aline I won’t have any issues dancing. Same goes for the shoes, I spent so much and they’re gorgeous so I’m gonna tough it out and where them as long as possible

Hahaha!! Thanks!! That’s funny! I love my dress so much to change into another dress. Same goes with my wedding heels. I had the heels since Feb 2020 and I’ve waited all this time to wear it. So I’ll wear it all day till night. 😂 good for you! One less thing for you to stress about.

That’s what I said! You can clip the back of the dress! I feel you!! I’m glad you decided not to change! We only get to wear it once so let’s make the use of it!😜🤪😂😂
Girl I agree with you 100%! I actually decided NOT TO CHANGE after my final fitting last Thursday. The amount of money spent, will be keeping it on me the whole day! And it did feel comfy and there's a way they clip the back of my dress so it doesn't bother me.
Hi Maggnard-Smanta, I think changing into a jumpsuit during reception is a great idea. My friend and her husband asked me the same question!! And I said no. I would not then they said is your wedding dress comfortable? I said it will be if I want it to be. Then he goes, aren’t you worried it will get dirty when you eat? I said yes but I just have to be careful. I mean I don’t spend all these money just to wear it for 45 mins! Plus been waiting to wear the dress more than one year!! I’ll wear it all night the whole night. Ive waited for this moment for a long time. I think it comes down to personal preference.

I suppose it is rustic haha! We have some hand cut wooden slabs to put under the center pieces, mason jars, lace, wire and wooden baskets for things like favours, utensils, etc. Chalkboards, some wooden logs to line the aisle. We made an arch to look like 3 mountains out of spruce wood. This is the spot we picked, in the photo.
I put an iron-on decal onto white crew neck sweater, says “Mrs.” with a small “est 2022” underneath. I will be changing into that and a pair of jeans for my reception. I want to be comfortable, plus our wedding is in the mountains, camping.
As I bought my wedding dress over 2 years ago now, and due to multiple factors (including covid), not having a date solidified yet, I am def. going to get a 2nd dress for the reception! My first dress is an a-line with layers of tulle for a ballgown like skirt... so want to do something sexier maybe for the reception
