I love the self-serve buffet idea! You could even do food stations! That way, it will be much easier for your to prepare Smiley smile Here are ideas I think you would like: My Low-Cost Wedding: Food Menu

Thank you for the tips Emilie!! there's definitely alot of ways to decorate a tent. & that's what we're thinking of doing, I'd like a rustic bohemian theme! For the food we're going to have a self serve buffet.

Hi Maria! I'm so happy to read all your discussions in here! Smiley heart I can't wait to hear all the ideas you have for your wedding! Smiley catface I love outdoor weddings! Here are a suggestions:

    - Rain: Have a tent

    - Wind: Have a venue that has both indoor and outdoor options

    - Think about where you will keep the food if it rains or away from mosquitos

    - Make sure your guests stay warm

Does your venue have an indoor backup? A tent is the easiest, but if it's REALLY raining or anything that won't help much. I'm getting married at a vineyard and they converted a room indoors into a gorgeous backup weather ceremony location. Also if your reception room is nearby or at the same location (and is indoors) you could rework the space and have it do double duty as the ceremony location too.If everything is outside...I recommend getting a tent with sides as a backup
