Out of town florist or not

I think the items you've requested would be ok to travel. If you were also looking for huge elaborate centerpieces I would look for a closer florist who could set up, but bouquets can easily travel. (I'm saying this as someone who has no idea how great a distance that is though, so maybe I'm wrong!)


Make sure you designate someone (not you or the groom!) To pick up the flowers and that you have space in a fridge to store them to keep them fresh.

Check locally first in Cochrane since they are closer to the venue. The florist may charge the same as searching outside of the area. There are delivery charges that may apply due to the distance travel.

Alternative choice is picking up on the way and putting the flowers in a cooler for temperature control and putting a protective layer underneath the bouquets and boutonnieres.

Definitely Cochrane. That way they can deliver them to your location without hassle. If you get flowers from Edmonton, you likely get hit with a hefty delivery fee or someone from your party would have to pick them up the morning of a really busy day and schlep them all the way down to Cochrane. And temperatures in our cars are not set for flowers so a four hour drive might not be so great for them.
