Original wedding reception entrance

Hey Becca! I think it's a good to want to do something original! You could both enter together on a song you chose or you could also plan something with your bridal party. Do you have any special talent like breakdance or signing? You could do somethign with that too!

I got exited because FH recommended Austin Powers theme song... But he was only joking... I could have had fun with that.

Thanks! It was the dj's company that picked this... it is one of their unique things they do to make our day different from others! The worst part is I can't tell my wedding party so it will surprise them!!!!!

We didn't do a big entrance. We were able to attend the cocktail hour and we tried to just join in but my aunt kind of got everyone's attention and we were like "no no go back to what you were doing!" After the cocktail hour ended, we went back down the stairs (we were on the 2nd floor of a restaurant) and our DJ introduced us and we came back up and we all sat for dinner. We weren't planning on doing an entrance at all but it did work well so everyone knew to sit for dinner.

Our entrance will be very different from most! So usually the wedding party walks in first and then the bride and groom...For our's we will be entering before everyone else and the mc will be doing a "soft roast" to introduce the wedding party as they walk in so it will be funny as we get to decide what they say and just have everyone introduced comically! I don't like to have attention on me, but Mitch might want to do something funny like a random dance... but I hope not haha!

My big entrance will be an intersting one. I will walk alone to the end of the dance floor and look lost. then our song will kick in ( a sad passionate song from a video game we both love!) and Eric will come from behind and take my hand as we do a waltz. Kinda like a little skit. Just to be cute.

To be honest do what ever you want to do and have fun with it.

We're just walking in, haha! I dislike big entrances (personally, I don't care if other people do them, or I have to watch them) and I just didn't want the attention. Plus I hate dancing, so we will not be "dancing in". So I guess I don't have big original ideas... just know you don't HAVE to do anything if you don't want
