Hey everyone this Saturday coming up is our original wedding date. We’ve postponed to October 2021. Anyone whose dates have past- what have you don’t to “celebrate” your original wedding date? Or does anyone else have ideas/suggestions!

Your original date can be proceeded to follow through given the year circumstances. The push back date for celebration is fine to have all your guests present to celebrate your anniversary in different ways.

Party time to have a 1 year anniversary with the memories playing or photos shown beforehand of your entrance.

You can have a vow renewal or a second wedding wearing your same outfits with an Officiant as one acting by a family member and rings to put on each other again.

Ours was also pushed to Oct 2021, our would have been wedding day is Oct 3, 2020 and we’re planning on having our parents and bridal party over for a little celebration. We’ll have a little cutting cake and I plan to wear a little white dress and just spend time sipping champagne with our closest friends and family ☺️🥂

My fiance and I had postponed our August 8 2020 wedding to August 7 2021 back in May. For that weekend, we had gone away to our lake house with a few of our close friends and family and of course our wedding party. It was nice to get away from the city since we were supposed to be going away to BC for our wedding and not think so much of what that day would've been if it wasn't for covid.

Our wedding date was supposed to be May 15 and since we were supposed to be getting married in Mexico, we threw a Mexican themed party for ourselves. I got some cute vacation themed decorations from the dollar store and managed to find a beach backdrop so we got dressed up in our vacation clothes and had a little photo shoot in front of it. Had tacos and fajitas for dinner and made some margaritas. It was a really fun way to celebrate what could’ve been! You could have some fun on your day and find ways to celebrate your new wedding date, maybe plan yourself a small engagement party for the day?
