Call by table numbers starting with one

I would suggest getting the wedding party and people with children up pretty fast. People who need to make speeches should get a chance to eat and digest a little before getting up to speak.

I am glad everyone likes my idea I thought it would be something different than picking table numbers out of a hat.

My brother and his wife did a trivia game! kept people busy as they were waiting.

I was at a wedding where they did this. It worked really well. The DJ kept an eye on the line, and once it was almost to the end, they played the next song so people weren't standing around too long waiting.

I've been to a wedding where the groom was a fireman, so they asked fire related questions and whoever can answer, their table went up first. The only caution is that it takes a lot longer than expected, so come up with a system to make it quick. I really like the song idea

Each table will have a card with title of song when the song comes on everyone at the table will go up. Just make sure song choices are obvious ones that everyone will know.
