Opinions on music

Emma, on July 1, 2018 at 09:22 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 5
Ok I’m still not 100% sure on my music for the ceremony. Then this morning I hear “like I’m going to lose you”. I had forgotten about this song, but now I really want it played during the wedding. Bit of a back story, we have had several losses in our family over the last few years, and my fiancé was seriously injured earlier this year (and it could have been much worse). It’s one reason why after being common law for years we are making it official.

Now do I go really unconventional and walk down the aisle to it, or use it while we are signing the papers?

Do what feels right to you, if you think it sends a good message to your partner while you're walking down the aisle or signing the papers. Go for it! The people who really listen to music will pick up on it, and to the rest it's a beautiful song. But you both will always hold that song in a special place for more that one reason.

It is your wedding day and you can do what you'd like. I think this song would work for either.

It’s your day, if you wanted to walk down the isle to the chicken dance song you could. If the song is important to you and holds a great significance than you should absolutely use it! Weather it be to walk down the isle or to sign your papers Smiley smile

Personally, I feel like the song the bride walks down the aisle is her "singing" it to her groom, and the song for the signing is the couple "singing" it to each other. Since this song is both Meghan Trainor and John Legend singing it, I like it as the signing song.

If you feel that song is important to you and how your FHs situation was overlooked, go for it. Don't hold back because he does know how you feel about him and what your doing for him.
