Hi all,
My fiance and I have been engaged for about a year but didn't start any planning until a couple months ago (he got a different position at work which meant moving across province, selling a house, and I got a new job...we didn't want to layer that with wedding planning). Right after we got engaged, we both wanted to do engagement photos for us. They were never going to be used for STD or anything like that, and agreed it would be a good trial run for a photographer for the wedding. Two birds, one stone. He was the one leading the planning for it with suggestions on locations, etc.
Now that we actually have the time to possibly arrange them and starting planning, my FH says "it's too late to have them done". Sure, we have been engaged for a year so it seems a bit late but our wedding isn't until August 2020. Engagement is not even at the halfway point and the trial run point still stands too. I am unreasonable for still wanting to get them done for us? Is there an official window you have to do them in?
