So life has been super stressful as of late and I completely missed a phone appointment we had made with our officiant. I emailed him as soon as I realized and apologized. Asked if we could reschedule and he hasn’t replied. I hope I didn’t lose him as he was the only one available on our date. 😔

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad he returned your call. Us, brides don't need anymore stress in our lives leading up to that date. haha

Sorry to hear. It's a little odd that the officiant didn't call you when you missed it. If they are waiting for a call, it would make sense to call them, in case they forgot.
Either way, I hope that he will call you back soon.

It’s been a week! He’s a private officiant so there’s no back up. I’ll try to remain calm and wait it out! In all of our other correspondence he was very prompt

How long has it been since you were due to have the call? I wouldn't panic too much yet if it hasn't been very long, you may be able to reconnect this weekend. I'll cross my fingers for you!

How many days has it been? I don't think you need to panic. He is probably just very busy. I'm sure there are companies out there that probably have someone available if he flakes out.

I wouldn't worry. I found when I was looking for officiants it took them FOREVER to get back to me (3-6 days). He's Probably just busy.
Regardless, if you've given him a deposit to secure his services for your date, I think he kinda needs to honour it.
