I know we've been through this before.. LOL Smiley sad so sorry for being one of those people. Who is OCT of this year? When is everyone making a decision by and what's your decisions looking like?

Im pretty confident we wont' be able to have 200 ppl... but with vaccines I wonder how much that would change. If we can't dance I dont' want 100 people coming just to sit down for dinner and leave Smiley sad lol.

October here!! We will speak with our venue 3 months out from our wedding and plan to have the day according to current restrictions. Or we are allowed to postpone- but we do not want to do that again. I think I am coming to the realization that it is not going to look "normal" and we will have to make some compromises, but who knows what it will look like then.

Honestly, we got married in October 2020 and the rules allowed dancing in your social circle. Everyone danced, and it was a great time! Restrictions don’t need to mean “boring”.

I’m October 23rd this year! Our venue reached out to us and let us know that if guidelines remain the same this year as last we can 90 guests at ceremony and 50 at our reception. Obviously this is not ideal, and I was so upset when I read the number 50, because our original number is 132. The pros with this is we will save money and get to spend more time with each guest.
If we can’t dance I will honestly be devastated, fingers crossed we can! I’d totally keep my mask on all night if we can party. Other things we could do though are games I guess, trivia, the shoe game, outdoor games if weather permits, I’m not sure honestly dancing is so important to me!
But I think the vaccine will help so much!! Especially since October is still so far away, a lot can change, let’s hope it does for the better!

Awww got my fingers crossed for you... it's been such a crappy time for everyone. Im definitely grateful we posptoned to Oct. of 2021. as we were originally supposed to be aug.2020. I couldn't imagine what some people have gone through where they've had to postpone a 2nd/3rd time Smiley sad

That's honestly how I feel. I've always pictured myself just having a blast on the dance floor, I can't imagine not being able to do that. We went to a wedding in October where dancing was permitted, but you had to wear a mask and stay with the people you were seated with. It wasnt necessarily ideal, but it was still nice to have the option to dance. My fingers are crossed that they implement a restriction such as this for our September wedding.

We're hoping for our reception this October. Probably about 100 people, which might be possible by then. We had light restrictions in the summer and early fall last year and they got stricter about a week after our wedding when our second wave began in NB.

The tough part for us is that if my husband's parents can't come from Wisconsin we don't know if we want to bother. The main reason for having wedding 2.0 was so we could share the day with our loved ones and I truly don't want to re-postpone over and over again if they can't come. I think we will make the decision in early July so we will still have time to get invitations ordered and sent out.

I'm September. We're okay without the dancing, we can figure out other fun things to do. We're going through with the ceremony no matter what though but not a reception if most of the population is not vaccinated.
