No Ring Bearer And Flower Girl

My fiancé’s 20 something year old cousins will be our ring bearer and flower girl! He took care of them a lot when they were little kids and it made sense to ask them for it since we’re not asking them to be part of the bridal party.

My side of the family has kids and they were part of the celebration with 2 along of 2 of husbands co workers kids as flower kids and no ring bearer. The Best Men were to hold the rings though it was forgotten to give them as it was sitting on our tray when brought out. You can have the guests hold the petals and have them throw at while you walk down the aisle from the aisle sides.

I had my little cousin that was the ring bearer, but while they sit, the best man took over to collect the box from them to give us the rings.


So like almost everyone is saying, the best man and MOH can be the alternatives. Both of them as they walk down the aisle can do it. Haha! That would be amazing, especially since they are the bride and groom’s right hand peeps. Haha

I have an eight year son and a six year old daughter and we are still not having them as flowergirl/ring bearer. They will go down the aisle after all the guests arrive with my older sons and my niece and nephew. We just wanted to keep the actual wedding party small. Since my (adult) sons aren't part of the wedding party we opted out of the little ones being in the wedding party. Not to say they don't have the sweetest little outfits to wear.

View quoted message YES!!! I wanted to do this but have two nieces (although we did no flower tossing). The best man did do a joke first look though! He put on my sister's wedding dress from 2001 🤣 (binder clips and elastic held it together).

I'm not having a flower girl or ring bearer either. The best man will be holding the rings and my man of honour is going to toss flower petals on his walk down the aisle haha

Hey Izzy. My Fiancée and I are opting for no children at our wedding, so we will not be having either. We will have our Maid of Honor & Best Man holding the rings!

We are opting for no children at our wedding in general, so this is a big no for us. Best man will hold rings.

I, like Carmel, LOVE the idea of groomsmen as a "flower girl"! I think the idea is so fun!!! We may opt for this, as we do have odd numbers so may ask our 2 odd groomsmen "walk down the aisles" together tossin flowers haha

We aren't having any wedding party including a ring bearer but even if you are, don't give your ring to a small child anyways lol My nephew was the ring bearer at a wedding (when he was 5 which is young but not as young as some) and they had fake rings on the pillow. Good thing they did because he decided to hold the rings and let the pillow dangle from the ribbon they were tied to, and then it just became too tempting to spin it around...etc you get the idea, don't trust small children with expensive things lol

We aren't having either. I made a pouch for the rings so the best man can keep them in his pocket.

Please have groomsmen be flower girls 🤣😂 I'd have MOH and best man home the rings if you have them.

We are not having a flower girl either, I honestly didn't think much of that part, don't think it will be missed.

Yeah we are not having them either. We will just have someone in our bridal party hold the rings 😊
