No Photographer....

Kaileigh, on June 16, 2019 at 14:41 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5
So we decided that we aren't going to hire a photographer to save on costs (the photographers in our area are high cost for low quality). I however still want lots of pictures, any suggestions as to how we can accomplish this?

As Tori suggested I created a game out of it. We have a photographer, however there are still other moments I want captured and some video. Smiley smile

You can put a sign up for all guests letting them know to take as many pictures as possible as there is no photographer. Then using a hashtag, you can see all your guests pictures!

Like Tori said, you can also make it an activity for guests to capture as many moments as possible.
Do you have a family member that has a good camera and enjoys taking pictures? You can always ask a family member to help you out.

If you know someone who's attending and dabbles in photography, you could ask them to help out. I like the I spy menu Tori posted.

You could make a wedding hashtag and ask people to post photos using the hashtag.

that way you can see the photos and ask people for copies.

alternatively, could you ask a friend/family member to take some photos? Whether on their phone or with a camera?

Well there's having disposable camera's on the tables - but that can get pretty costly tbh. I would say to ask around if anybody attending owns a "legit" camera and see if they are willing to help out. That or maybe you could try posting on a FB group to see if there are any aspiring photographers out there that would do it for little to no pay?

I've also seen where they put out an "I spy" for guests to capture moments of which would help with the bigger moments:
