New confusion

Cheryl, on December 27, 2016 at 21:28 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 3
Upon Christmas dinner with his family from Holland, they convinced us to change our wedding date to when they're in town. It'll now be three months later and neither of us really know how to go about changing the plans. Anyone have advice? Thank you!

Have you sent your invitation out already ? I looked at your website and I think it's pretty easy to change the date. I like your simple and easy going style. good luck with your planning.
    Wishing you all the best.

Cheryl, it's okey. Sometimes a change of wedding plans is unavoidable and Im sure your guests will understad it. Do you already send the invitations? Or announced your wedding date? It dependes on how much of your weddign planning you have until now. So, here are some tips for making the change as easy as possible:

The first thing you need to do is contact all your vendors (venue, caterer, band or DJ, florist, and whoever's marrying you) stat. While you're waiting for them to get back to you, review your contracts. As far as invitations go, I think it's fine to alert your guests via e-mail or calling them.

How are you doing? Have you a new plan? Smiley shame

Well that's great that they want to come out for your wedding and very nice of you both to accommodate them. That's so special that they'll be there!

What do you need to change? Have you already signed contracts with vendors? If so, you should reach out to them to see if they're available for the new date. You'll have to see if there are any fees to change the date. (Though if they're available there shouldn't be.) Have you sent our Save the Dates or invitations yet? If not, then you should be good. You probably want to talk to your wedding party and make sure they can make it too. If you have a wedding website, make sure to update it so if guests search for it, it doesn't have misinformation. Good luck!
