I was a bridesmaid in my aunt's wedding in 2017 and I caught the bouquet. Got engaged a year later

I tried once but got scared when a girl was ready to pounce on me so I moved out of the way!

I went to my friend's wedding in South Korea and it is customary in advance to choose someone to catch the bouquet! So after her ceremony and family photos all of the friends posed around and she tossed her bouquet just to me, multiple times for the photographer. It was really awkward but also a funny experience!

I haven’t. The last wedding I was at didn’t announce it properly so I missed it 😂

I have never caught the bouquet; however, at the last wedding I attended (December 2017), the groom just handed the bouquet to my now fiancé (we had a date of when we were getting married, but not a year, as we wanted to sell our condo and buy a house before getting married).

Never caught the bouquet.. but one wedding we went to the girl who did catch the bouquet came over to me and gave it to me after she caught it.. she said i needed it more than she did... my FH and i had been together nearly 7 years at the time

Never!! It's a funny coincidence but at every wedding I've been to there has NOT been a bouquet toss.

I did actually! At my friends wedding....I stood off to the side because I wasn't going to make much effort...it basically landed in my hands!

Not technically. I caught the bouquet with my face at a wedding. It then bounced off my face into my FSIL's arms.

Never have I ever caught a bouquet! Heck, I've never even tried to! Out of like 4 weddings I've been to, I was under the age of 10 for 3 of them, and that last one I went to they didn't to a bouquet toss at all!

I have never caught the bouquet, but I only participated in the toss twice - once at my cousin's wedding and once at a friend's. The people who did catch the bouquet actually did get married next in those circles, so could've been rigged lol

STORY TIME!! I went to a wedding that was my FHs and I coworker (we werent even dating yet but heavily flirting) I caught the bouquet and he jokingly said "looks like I gotta propose now!" And now look at us!!! 5 years later and actually getting married!!!! That bouquet worked for me!!!!

I caught it at my dads wedding after being forced to participate by my father. The funny part is though I was the next to get engaged, I will not be the first one getting married since two of my step sisters will be tying the knot before us.

I did, once, at my cousin's wedding.

Funny story : I went to a wedding where guests were told NOT to catch the bouquet, as the bride wanted her friend to have it. They also had a videographer, so they will forever have footage of me stepping away from the friend and bouquet, letting her catch it.

Never! I really don’t like that tradition, so I don’t participate in it.

I've caught a bouquet before! But one of the other guests almost trampled me over it...
