I have been a bridesmaid twice.

I don't see getting to be one for awhile after that since 2 of my best friends (in the wedding party) are single/say they have to be dating 5 years before getting married. My FH's sister is in a relationship, they have a kid together, and has never been one to get married, even if she did, she'd go to a court house/city hall and keep it low key - but never say never (again)!

I was a flower girl when I was 2 years old, but have never been a bridesmaid. I'm the first one in my circle to get married, and I have a very small family, no cousins or aunts!

My first time as a bridesmaid i was a maid of honour for my god mother at the age of 15! It was so exciting back then.
Last year I was a bridesmaid for my brothers wedding and that was quite the adventure. His wife made us buy 15$ dresses off of Ebay and mine came in 10 sizes too big! I ended up paying 150$ to get it altered when i could have just bought a good dress at the store to start with. Oh well, i learned from that experience and brought my bridesmaids to a store to pick their dresses.

I'm 21 years old right now so I will be the first of all my friends to get married Hopefully when/if they do get married I can be one (I don't consider being a flower girl to be in the wedding party just for the fact of I literally walked down the aisle putting flower petals on the ground and I didn't even rehearse it...)
