Need a time line example

Mel, on September 21, 2017 at 23:18 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 3
I'm getting married Oct 14th of this year. Ceremony is to start at 230 and dinner at 545. Does anyone have a time line example as to when speaches, cake cutting, first dance ect. Should be. How spaced out should I do them.

We didn't have all of the traditional things because our reception was just dinner at a restaurant and we didn't want the photographer there during dinner, but if it helps, here is what out timeline looked like:

    2:30-3:00 ceremony

3:00-3:15 Champagne toast and speeches (MoH, Best Man)

3:15-3:45 Group, Family, and Wedding party pictures

    3:45-5:45 Pictures Bride and Groom

5:45-6:00 Cake cutting and reception pictures

    6:00-10:00 Dinner & mingling

'A Practical Wedding' also tackled this subject a while back and found their examples pretty helpful.
