My Wedding Dress Just Changed My Wedding Colours

Hi all,
So I just chose my wedding dress yesterday (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it's completely different from what I envisioned. I wanted my wedding to be rose gold, blush and dusty rose, and for years I dreamed of a blush wedding dress. I am all about soft pinks. Now that I've chosen the dress, which I LOVE, I'm worried that it will clash with the wedding colours that I want, because the wedding dress has some purple in it and I want to include some soft purples for wedding colours but I'm really worried that there will end up being too much purple because everyone in my wedding party and my mom all like purple more than pink, and I'm worried that my beautifully pink wedding will become all purple. I know this sounds ridiculous to focus on, but there are probably some of you who will understand that being a bride sometimes means that you get overwhelmed by things that other people will think are silly. Does anyone have any advice?

I love your dress, you look stunning!! Go to a paint department and find paint colour swatches in all the colours you want and see how they will look together. Like Leah daid in nature pinks and purples are lovely together.

Your dress is so pretty! I would say you should keep your original idea for colours. you could throw in some purple accents to go with your dress maybe? If you are having flowers, something like purple orchids/peonies/lavender/dahlias etc. mixed in. You could even have flower girls throw lavender down the isle (if you are doing that). I would totally do that if I had flower girls lol

Your wedding dress looks so pretty! If your heart is set on your original colour scheme, I feel you should keep it. Your dress doesn't have so much purple that the colour scheme would be affected by it.

Your dress is legit awesome. If I was younger and having a traditional wedding I would probably pick this dress. Are those lilacs or wisteria? I would go ahead with your chosen colours. I think that they are wonderful paired together.

Our handfasting has our main colour is lilac. Because, June.

LOVE your dress! I think you should just wear your dress and keep the wedding pink! It will make you stand out more which is exactly what should happen!

I love the purple in the dress - you look beautiful init! I think your shades of pink will pair beautifully with it, like the shades of pink and purple go well together in a sunrise or sunset.
Do what YOU want and don't let colours throw you off your game.

I think you should be able to keep the wedding in pink - I totally understand where you are coming from when it comes to wanting your colours to stay with plan.
One thing I think would look cool is have your wedding party in blush and they carry white flowers with some lavender in there. Your bouquet could be all pink so the bouquets (and dresses!) complement each other!
I think you can still pull off the pink wedding but have some purple accents if you stick to your guns and don't let anyone else tell you to change plans.

Just stick with your wedding colours and own your dress! As long as you're happy in your dress, the subtle purple in it won't clash

I totally understand this!! Don’t worry, I will always be out there wondering about the little things, if it’s your favourite colour I would say no there’s no way there would be too much purple. Lol
I am a huge fan of different shade of the same colour as a colour scheme! If you have any pictures of the dress, please share!!
