My ideal (and first) Valentine's Day EVER, as Joseph is my first and last, would take place during sunset, on a romantic rooftop with pretty lights coming on as the night falls. Prior to our romantic rooftop dinner, we would have our Quiet Time/Devotional together, grab some chocolocate milk and walk to our rooftop venue. It would be cold so he would wear his favourite soft scarf and have my hand in his jacket pocket. Our sushi dinner would be fresh as we get to our rooftop venue with Zootopia playing on a projector screen.
After dinner and a movie, "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts would start to play and we would be dancing under the moonlight and pretty lights looking out the city. He would either share a funny memory/story, or fart and break the moment and we would end up having a massive fit of laughter. We'd talk about how ten must definitely be our lucky number as it only took him ten seconds to break a highlight moment and cherish our first Valentine's Day together - the best gift for us would be each other and we would probably thank each other even though we couldn't give anything last year. We would take a Polaroid and mark down "258 Days Together" as Valentine's Day is only a week away and end our night with a beautiful view of our city.
What a beautiful and meaningful first Valentine's Day together !
Happy Valentine's Day everyone, and congratulations on your engagements💕!
