Pinterest definitely gave us lots of inspiration for our decorations and we were able to make it our own! Our theme started when I saw Our Story chalkboards on Pinterest. We wanted our wedding to be very personalized so I really wanted to have one for our wedding. I love reading and collecting vintage books and my husband has a degree in screen writing so we decided to incorporate books into our decor since it went with Our Story and represented us.

I like the flowers and the idea of bringing the outdoors indoors... I also like the fabric draping and using the vertical space.

To follow with my other post, I'm loving the rustic crate theme. And my Dad can make them for me! I'm going for pretty simple decor. My other idea is to have wooden pictures frames or pieces of painted wood, some maybe propped up on the crates and around the barn, with love poems or quotes written on them. Once the snow melts we are going to visit our venue again and get a better idea of what we want to do because right now it's just a mish-mash of all the things I love on Pinterest But likely lots of rustic, wooden elements and lots of flowers.
